Welcome to Mary's Place Campground
Located in world famous Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
We are located at 300 Bristol Park Lane in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. We are walking distance to everything that Lava has to offer but conveniently tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. The Portneuf River surrounds our property on all sides with the exception of beginning at the base of the mountain on the back end of our park. The mountain, trees and the distance provided by the river provide a barrier from the road and train noise that other campgrounds cannot provide. We hope that you will experience Lava’s “Best Kept Secret” for your next visit!
Mary’s Place Campground in owned and operated by the Bannock County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Inc. We are a non-profit organization, so all the revenue generated by the campground is re-invested into the campground and donated to local charitable causes the Bannock County Deputy Sheriff’s support.
We also have a riverside area that is for tents only. This area is on the lower level of our campground and is secluded from the main level offering no traffic from vehicles. We allow you to drive down and set up your tents and then provide a parking area beside the office and bathrooms for the duration of your visit. This will ensure a nice quiet visit.
The area is all grass and all shade, provided by 50+ year old willow trees. At one corner there is a picturesque waterfall that provide a nice soothing sound that is particularly pleasant at night under the stars. At this time we do not allow children under the age of 10 in this area for fear of drowning. For tent camping with children under the age of 10, we have camping on the main level of the campground which is protected by fencing. All campsites, whether tent or RV, come with a picnic table however not all sites come with a fire pit. Please see the map to determine which sites have fire pits. You are welcome to bring a portable fire pit and we also rent fire pits for $10 per visit.
Bathroom facilities and showers are available behind the A-Frame and are kept very immaculate and clean for the use of our registered campers. We ask campers to do their part with keeping our facilities in immaculate condition as the bathrooms are checked and cleaned on a regular basis. Two Portable facilities are placed within the campground.
The Bannock County Deputy Sheriffs Association Inc. is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment when you stay at Mary’s Place Campground.
